Welcome you to The Champlain Telephone Company (CTC) website. CTC is a regulated telephone company providing residential and commercial telephone services to the rural communities of Altona, Champlain, Mooers, Mooers Forks, and Rouses Point New York since 1903.

Over the past 97 years, CTC has consistently been visible as a cornerstone of the communities we serve. CTC employees take great pride in knowing that their interests and those of our local community are supported consistently by CTC. We are also proud to carry on the legacy of the Champlain Telephone Company that has consistently offered quality, high-tech communication services to our neighbors.

CTC has made strong commitments to the communities it serves. Since the founding in 1903, CTC has built and maintained its entire local communications network. CTC became the first small, independent telephone company in New York with a 100 percent fiber optic "backbone" in 1991.

Throughout our history, we have been a leader in bringing technical advances in communications to the rural areas we serve. Most recently, home installation of a Siemens,Stromberg,Carlson EWSD switch. This switch will allow us to increase the capacity at which we can serve customers more efficiently and offer more additional communications services.
